Opt for breathable fabrics for our elegant beach side wedding. Dress to impress while considering the elements. Fabrics like silk, lace and georgette are light and airy but have an upscale vibe. Suggested jewel tones, prints and do not worry about upstaging the bride. Chunky heels or sandals as the ceremony is beachside but reception is indoors. The hotel we're getting married at is 10-15 minutes away from Waikiki. Waikiki is the hub for the island and has every type of hotel imaginable. We suggest you stay in Waikiki! We opted out of a block to give you the freedom of where you wanted to stay. In the travel section there are suggestions on places we recommend or have stayed. If you are interested in staying at Kahala, please reach out to us and we can work with resort to secure a rate.

We understand you are coming from all over to celebrate with us! We love your kids but thought you might like a night off. Adults only please! We want you to enjoy yourself and we are securing childcare on site during the duration of our event. You will be able to step away and check on your little ones when you please. If you choose to stay in Waikiki and are not renting a car the Uber is 10-15 minute drive. Kahala Resort is tucked in a quiet residential neighborhood with easy access into the hotel. If you are renting a car and plan to drive in we have secured complimentary self or valet parking. We do not recommend staying in the northern or west side of the island. There can be heavy traffic and the drive can be over an hour to resort. Please contact Husna if you are parking at hotel.
